Welcome to Kalour Hair Studios! We're honored to have you here. Our salon is built on intention, creativity, and care—where each appointment is designed to nourish not only your hair, but your overall experience. To help everything flow smoothly, we kindly ask you to review our salon policies. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

Need to Reschedule?

Life happens—we understand! If you need to reschedule, just send us a text at (512) 693-9944 at least 48 hours before your appointment. There’s no charge for rescheduling within that window.

Late Cancellations or Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment time, a 100% cancellation fee (up to $500) will be charged. This honors the time set aside just for you and ensures fairness for other guests on our waitlist.

No-Show Policy

If you miss your appointment without notice, the full cost of the scheduled service will be charged. We deeply value your time and kindly ask that you respect ours in return.

Running Late?

Please text us if you’re running behind. Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may result in your service being modified or rescheduled, and a 50% cancellation fee may apply.

Gratuity

Gratuity is always appreciated, but never expected. If you feel your service went above and beyond, you’re welcome to offer a tip as a personal thank-you.

Health, Safety & Client Information

Your well-being is our top priority.

Please let us know about:

  • Allergies or sensitivities

  • Medical conditions or medications

  • Prior hair treatments (chemical, keratin, etc.)

This information helps us tailor your services safely and effectively. We ask these questions with care—always in your best interest.

Children in the Salon

Kalour Hair Studios is a tranquil, one-on-one salon space. For safety and serenity, we kindly ask that only clients receiving services be present during appointments.

Photography & Social Media

We love showcasing the artistry we create! During your appointment, we may take photos or videos of your hair for documentation or social media. If you prefer not to be featured publicly, just let us know—we respect your wishes completely.

Our goal is to maintain a warm, respectful environment where everyone feels safe and seen. We ask all guests to extend the same kindness and professionalism that we promise to you.

Inappropriate Behavior Policy

We will not tolerate threatening, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward our team or other guests.

  • If behavior crosses the line, we may stop your service and ask you to leave immediately.

  • No refunds will be issued in these situations.

  • We also reserve the right to refuse future appointments if necessary.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to decline services that compromise safety, comfort, or violate these policies.

Refunds & Retail Exchanges

While we stand behind our work, we do not offer refunds on completed services. If something feels off, please speak up before you leave—we want to make it right!

Retail products may be returned or exchanged within 7 days, provided they’re unopened and accompanied by proof of purchase.
