What is the Luna Method?
The Luna Method™ is a luxury hand-tied extension technique that uses a hidden row of beads and premium hand-tied wefts, no glue, tape, or bulky bonds involved. I'm proud to be the first, and currently the only, certified Luna Method stylist in Austin, TX. It's designed to lay flat against the head for a natural root line, distribute weight evenly, and stay comfortable enough to wear in a high ponytail from day one.
Do you require a deposit to book an appointment?
Yes. Once we've had your consultation and built out your plan together, a deposit is required to officially reserve your install date. This holds your spot on my calendar and covers the cost of ordering your custom hair. You can find full details on deposits, cancellations, and rescheduling on my Salon Policy page.
Can I work out with hair extensions in?
Yes, absolutely! Most of my clients keep up their regular workout routine with no issues. Just be mindful of sweat building up near your roots, rinse and dry your hair thoroughly after a sweaty session, and stick to the at-home care routine I send you home with. A little extra attention to cleanliness goes a long way in keeping your rows comfortable and your hair healthy.
Is it painful to have my hair extensions removed?
Not when it's done professionally. Removal only takes about 15-20 minutes in the salon and shouldn't hurt at all. I know it can be tempting to take your own rows out at home, especially in between appointments, but I always recommend against it since it's easy to accidentally damage your natural hair in the process
Do you serve clients outside of Austin?
Yes! While my salon suite is based in Austin, TX, I regularly welcome clients driving in from Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Wimberley, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Buda, and Kyle. If you're anywhere in the Texas Hill Country and looking for Luna Method or hand-tied extensions, I'd love to have you in my chair.
